Sorry guys, All Body Basic's bikini, brazilian, Hollywood, and other waxing services performed on the "private" areas of the body are for ladies only and performed by a female esthetician. Please be sure that you have at least 2 weeks of hair growth (in other words, hair has not been cut or shaved within 2 weeks) or at least 1/4 inch of growth in the area you plan to have waxed.

Our staff are all professionally licensed estheticions with more than a decade of experience. All Body Basics is located in a small, sanitary clinic designed with privacy in mind. All services are confidential to protect your modesty.

Bikini & Brazilian Waxing Questions

Q: Should I trim my pubic region before coming in?

A: No, the more hair the better. There needs to be at least 1/4 inch of hair growth for the wax to stick properly.

Q: Is there anything I need to do after a bikini wax, brazilian wax or Hollywood wax?

A: Yes, you should use a natural loofa sponge when you shower. This will help to prevent any infected hair follicles. If you do not own a loofa sponge already, we have them available for sale.

Q: How long should I grow the hair in my pubic region before coming in?

A: We recommend at least 2 weeks of hair growth or 1/4 minimum of hair growth between waxing sessions.

Q: Why does it matter if the person waxing me is experienced or an esthetician?

A: Estheticians are professionals who are trained for a minimum of 500 hours just to become licensed. Most importantly, estheticians are licensed to perform waxing. Cosmetologists are also licensed to perform waxing. An esthetician has better knowledge of skin and a cosmetologist has better knowledge of hair. Jordanna is both a licensed esthetician and a licensed cosmetologist. This, combined with over a decade of experience in waxing (not to mention, facials, hair, and massage) give her a definite edge in waxing business. Keep in mind, waxing is not just the act of removing hair, but sculpting and shaping the hair for style as well as knowing how the follicles will react to the service.

Q: This is embarrassing for me, is your spa large and crowded? What if I see one of my friends?

A: All Body Basics is a small, family owned clinic in a private setting. Rarely do we have more than three customers in the shop at once - so chances of seeing someone you know are very slim. All services are confidential and in a closed room. We respect your privacy and want you to be comfortable with your waxing service. Jordanna, our esthetician performs all waxing services and has more than a decade of bikini and brazilian waxing experience - rest assured you are in good hands. you are in good hands.

Q: How bad does bikini waxing or brazilian waxing hurt?

A: It hurts a little, especially the first time. Everyone is different, but we can tell you that it is not like in the movies. As you have more sessions, it will become less painful. Jordanna, our esthetician has more than a decade of experience - this means much less pain than with a novice.
